While EVE helps us model economics, StarCraft...

While EVE helps us model economic behaviour (nod: Eyjó), StarCraft is increasingly being used for various research in Cognitive Science. The results can help us develop better games, as well as how we can best use the game mechanics involved in creating other systems.

However, in both cases, of course, the results tell us a lot more than just how things work in relation to the game (or game mechanics) in question, as they allow us to extrapolate various interesting things…

After spending some time getting to know Xcode, objective-c and mac-stuff in general the first game we at Is-Leikir have developed natively for iOS is ready and coming soon to the Appstore for iPad.

12 Stacks of Christmas is a simple but fun physics based stacking game for the whole family. Distribute presents to family members making sure no presents are dropped.

Game Summit in Antwerp

IGI was asked to participate in the Games Summit in Antwerp in September. The reason was that the Belgium Flemish gaming industry was looking for advice from the Nordic region and from European gaming authorities.
